LUBBOCK, Texas — A motorcycle crash in the 1600 block of Marsha Sharp Freeway left two people hurt on Friday night, according to the Lubbock Police Department.

LPD said officers were called to the area just after 10:50 p.m. after receiving reports of a traffic accident with injuries. One person’s injuries were serious, while the other’s were moderate.

Ruidoso wildfires: Residents returning Monday

In an update Monday morning, officials with the Southwest Area Incident Management Team said fire behavior in Ruidoso has “reduced to smoldering.” Officials also warned the public that fire activity can increase near unburned fuel as warm weather moves into the area.
