Can Am 2 Up ATV Models - Wild ATV (2024)

Can Am 2 Up ATV Models - Wild ATV (1)

Can Am2 Seater ATVs

Can Am has more 2 up ATV models than any other ATV manufacturer.

Their lineup includes a total of ten 2 Ups in sizes from 450s to 1000s.

Can Am designates their ATVs as primarily for “performance”, “trail” or “work”. The trail and performance models are both ideal for trail riding. But, even ‘work’ ATVs can be fine trail riders, it’s just not their primary design function.

The performance and trail 2 Ups come with bigger engines to carry a passenger while also delivering more power and speed. They also come standard with the heavy duty bumpers and winches riders need for trail riding.

Can Am’s current 2 seater ATV lineup includes 3 performance ATVs and 7 work ATVs. 3 of the 7 “work” ATVs are 6x6s.

This is the smallest 6×6 in the Can Am 2 seater ATV lineup.

The addition of the extra two wheels in the rear, gives this ‘work’ ATV a lot of extra room to haul whatever you need.

Besides the extra storage, one big advantage of a 6×6 is the extra traction that you gain from two additional tires. This makes a 6×6 ideal for tough work conditions or rough trails.

Also, a central skid plate provides added protection against obstacles and rocks.

One nice feature of the Max 6X6 DPS 450 is the factory standard RF Digitally Encoded Security System anti-theft system.

Comes prewired for a winch.

Tires get an upgrade to 26″ Carlisle ACT radials on 12″ aluminum wheels. With .94″ of tread depth, this tire is great for mud and trail riding.

The rear suspension also gets an upgrade to Double Torsional Trailing Arm Independent with quick-release sway bar and 8.8″ travel.

ITP TerraCross tires have 3/4″ tread depth with an interlocking tread pattern and a wide footprint for excellent traction and flotation. These 6 ply, heavy duty, puncture resistance tires also have the added bonus of being made in the US.

Mudguards will help keep you dry when the going gets wet.
