If you're dreading hitting the gym later today, you're not alone in that. Who hasn't had a day when catching up on all your favorite TV shows sounds better than getting in a quality sweat sesh at the gym? And while letting your body rest and recover from all the activity you put it through is totally necessary for maintaining a healthy balance, we're never going to stray away from talking all about the benefits of exercise.
Higher energy levels? Check. Instant mood boost? Check. Decreased risk of developing certain health issues like heart disease, type 2 diabetes and cancer? Check, check, check. But you already knew all that, didn't you? It's not exactly breaking news that regular exercise is good for you.
If all of the above doesn't encourage you to hit the gym on a regular basis, maybe a little fitspiration will help — we know it works for us. Especially when it comes to working out your lower body, exercise can completely transform your body. Just ask these 10 ladies with bootylicious butts who are the queens of posting belfies (butt selfies) on Instagram.
Jen Selter
A post shared by Jen Selter (@jenselter) on
Known widely as the world's most famous butt, Jen Selter even has a belfie pose named after her — it's called #seltering. This girl is no stranger to squats, squat pulses, jump squats or fire hydrants, and shares workout videos on Instagram on the reg.
No one said getting a booty like Selter's would be easy, but we have some go-to moves for sculpted glutes right here.
Abby Polluck
Not only does Abby have a killer booty, but she's got an inspiring transformation story to go along with it. While she was in engineering school, she was under a lot of pressure from classes, family health issues and relationship drama. She told Cosmopolitan that her diet was the one thing she felt like she could control — so she began obsessing over counting and burning calories, eating only 1,000 calories per day.
Eventually, she reached out to a nutritionist for help, who bumped up her daily consumption to 2,000 calories per day. Abby also cut back on her daily two-hour cardio sessions and now focuses on weight training four days a week.
Today, she works for TransformNation, helping other women meet their own fitness goals. "Transformation does not come from finding the 'perfect' moment, training plan, or diet," she told Cosmo. "It comes from taking action and choosing to learn through your failures, rather than give up."
Jeannette Jenkins
Celebrity trainer Jeanette Jenkins shares some of her intense booty-sculpting workouts on Instagram, and we're exhausted just watching a couple videos. But if you're a fan of the svelte figures from celebs like Pink, Alicia Keys, Tia Mowry, Amber Rose, Tracee Ellis Ross, Kelly Rowland, Serena Williams or Shonda Rhimes, it might be worth it to give Jenkins a quick follow.
It's no surprise to see squat variations rule the lineup in her workout routines, as well as lower body work like lunges, jacks and high knees.
Anna Victoria
Fitness model and certified personal trainer Anna Victoria can pose with the best of 'em, but that doesn't mean she's out of touch with reality, either. She's well known for her body-positive attitude online and frequently posts photos revealing what goes on behind the scenes to maker her look as good as possible.
When she's not sharing side-by-side photos showcasing the difference between a candid and posed shot of her abs, you can bet she's at the gym. She frequently showcases booty workouts like forward lunge and squat compounds, squat variation with crab walks, lunges with a barbell between her legs, and more. With every intense exercise, Victoria reminds her fans to squeeze their booty. No booty squeeze equals no booty gains.
Brittne Babe
A self-described fitness entrepreneur, Brittne Babe and her bodacious booty amaze her 1.1 million followers on a daily basis. Whether she's posing in an elegant ensemble or hitting the gym, her athleticism is beyond compare to any other belfie taker on Instagram.
Pair her intense workouts (which she calls Britt Camp) with her picture-perfect healthy eats and you've got an Instagram account you won't regret following.

Yanet Garcia
A post shared by Yanet Garcia (@iamyanetgarcia) on
Yanet Garcia has been turning heads ever since her days as the "Mexican Weather Girl", where she delivered forecasts on Mexican TV. Since then, she's expanded her following from weather enthusiasts to fitness enthusiasts with her myriad of belfies taken at the gym — and at the beach, of course!
Brittany Perille Yobe
This certified personal trainer has been taking California and Instagram by storm with her hardcore workouts.
She says that even if you're born with a tiny butt, you can still hold out hope if you want a bubble butt like hers.
"I post glutes exercise videos day after day to show people that while genetics do play an important role in determining the size of your glutes, significantly growing the muscles is absolutely possible," she told Cosmo.
In fact, her butt has garnered so much attention that there are even "quite a few non-believers" who think her round booty is fake. "It's actually opened my eyes because I never thought my progress was that dramatic," she said.
